Moving places has always been part of mankind. Man was born to move and not to stand still. In this respect, migration is intimately linked to human history as in his early stages, Man moved a lot before He decided to finally settle. Migration is not limited to just materialistic interest as some people may think. It is deeper than that. Migration, therefore, is the interaction between different cultures and civilizations. The migrant moves from one space to another imbued with his customs and culture with which he considerably contributes in enriching the culture of the receiving country.
In choosing the theme of “Migration, Movement and Cultural Transformation”, we would like to show that art, which has always been in the forefront of human imagination, has often dealt with migration from a creative perspective namely in a world that is characterized by enormous crises that some wrongly attribute to the phenomenon of migration and hence lead to a serious misunderstanding between the migrant and the receiving countries.
The art of Theater and video, therefore, try hard in order to dispel the fears and charges of biased allegations in order to lead mankind to strongly believe that there is common ground between the different cultures and that exclusion and hatred should be combated. In so doing, Man, no matter where he is and whoever he is, would search into the essence of His being.
There is no doubt that the festival organized by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Ben M’sik, Hassan II University Mohammedia - Casablanca, which brings students and artists from different cultures and different civilizations and religions, will contribute as much as possible in building a global outlook . This will be carried out through both the different work of art performed within the framework of the 23rd edition of the International Festival of University Theater of Casablanca and other work within the framework of the 18th edition of the International Festival of Video Art of Casablanca bearing in mind that art in general and theater and video art in particular have taken up the dynamic of positive migration that aims at creating a sense of openness and interaction between one’s own self and the other self, the near and the distant , the same and the different.
The present gathering is an invitation to enjoy the artistic and creative scenes which bring about a fertile space for openness and exchange of experiences held in an atmosphere of brotherhood and solidarity between the cultures, languages and ideas, far from any aspect of exclusion, intolerance or hatred.

. الحركة سلوك مصاحب للإنسان لأنه خلق لا للسكون بل للحركة، والهجرة مرتبطة بتاريخ البشرية، لأن الإنسان كان رحالا في بداياته قبل أن يستقر. إن الهجرة لا ترتبط بالمصلحة فقط، كما يراد ويقال عنها اليوم، بل هي تلاقح بين الثقافات والحضارات. إن المهاجر ينتقل من فضاء إلى آخر مشحونا بعاداته وبثقافته، وبالتالي فإنه يساهم بقدر افر في إغناء ثقافة وحضارة الفضاء المستقبل.
إننا باختيارنا لموضوع الهجرة والحركة والتحويل الثقافي، نود أن نظهر أن الفن الذي شكل ويشكل على الدوام الطليعة في المخيال الإنساني قد تناول الهجرة من منظور إبداعي في وقت يعاني فيه العالم من أزمات يردها المتسرعون إلى ظاهرة الهجرة، ومن تم تنشأ في البلدان المستقبلة كراهية للمهاجر والخوف منه
إن فن المسرح والفيديو يعملان على تبديد المخاوف والتهم من الادعاءات المغرضة بهدف السمو بالإنسان إلى الإيمان بالعوالم المشتركة وبالأخذ والعطاء ومحاربة الإقصاء والكراهية، لأن الاعتقاد في هذه العوامل سوف يرفع ويبحث عن الكينونة في الإنسان، أي إنسان كيفما كان، وأينما وجد.
لا شك أن الملتقى الذي تنظمه كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بنمسيك، جامعة الحسن الثاني المحمدية-الدار البيضاء، الذي يجمع طلبة وفنانين من ثقافات وحضارات وديانات مختلفة، سيساهم قدر المستطاع في بناء النظرة الكونية انطلاقا من أعمال إبداعية في المسرح في إطار الدورة 23 من المهرجان الدولي للمسرح الجامعي للدار البيضاء وأعمال فنية في فن الفيديو في إطار الدورة 18 من المهرجان الدولي لفن الفيديو للدار البيضاء، وعيا بأن الفن عموما والمسرح وفن الفيديو على الخصوص قد ركبا دينامية الهجرة الإيجابية الهادفة إلى الأخذ والعطاء والانفتاح والتلاقح فيما بين ذات الأنا وذات الآخر البعيد والقريب، المختلف والشبيه.
إن اللقاء الحالي دعوة للاستمتاع بمشاهد فنية وإبداعية تخلق فضاء خصبا للانفتاح والتلاقح وتبادل الخبرات في جو من التآخي والتلاحم بين الثقافات واللغات والأفكار، بعيدا عن كل إقصاء أو تعصب أو كراهية.
